Just got back from Bangkok and am already missing that place. Stayed at Bangkok for a week and celebrated Christmas there! It was just amazing! Loved every moment i spent there with my family. It was so festive there, the thais were more spirited and it really felt like christmas even without snow or the cool breezy weather, it was hot with the sun glistening for 12 hours, perspiring was what I did most of the time.

Walked to almost everywhere i went because everything was so close to my hotel. All the shopping malls like Siam Paragon,Central World,Siam Discovery, MBK,Platinum mall. Apparently there was a night market just opposite my hotel! What more can I ask for! But places like the Chatukchak market was far so I took the BTS. BTS in Bangkok was one of the main public transports, its fast and there isnt any traffic, at bangkok the traffic is really bad especially after work hours, you can get stuck in the taxi/car/bus/tuktuk for at least an hour or two. In my opinion, take the BTS! It is very efficient and its fairly clean!

The malls there are huge and filled with so many kinds of things. If you like to shop for expensive, high quality, internationally known brand..well the place for you to shop is at Siam Discover,Siam Paragon and Central World. For cheap clothings with a bit of quality is at Platinum Mall! it is just beside Central world. Last but not least, for the cheapest clothings with not very good quality..are the night markets! One of Bangkoks well known market is 'Chatukchak market' it operates during the weekends only {Sat/Sun}. It has around 4000 stores and its crazy! There isnt much shade and it really burns! Most shops are open 24/7 but not the retail shops, they are only open till 20:00pm. They have all kinds of things there.

The malls I just mentioned was all near my hotel, didn't go any further than that. There are definitely more Malls around Bangkok.
The hotel I stayed in is called LIT, I enjoyed my stay there,it is clean and the rooms are comfy and spacious. It is also known to be rated with 4 and a half stars by the trip advisor. Reviews from there were great! So my dad decided to stay there. The reviews didn't fail to prove us wrong.

Had heaps of fun especially shopping there! and not to mention the delicious Thai food!  Pictures will be up latest by tomorrow! See ya! xoxo
